This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit linkfar.de or contact us, why we do so and which rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus). When you visit the site, the server automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the website securely and to detect errors and attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period unless needed to investigate an incident. We have a data processing agreement with the host.

3. Cookies and consent management

We use the consent tool Complianz to ask for and store your cookie choices. Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies and similar technologies (statistics, marketing) are only used with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Manage consent” at the bottom of each page.

4. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, company, subject, message) to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form submissions are stored in our website database and sent to us by email. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) require us to keep it longer.

5. Website analytics

Google Analytics / Google Tag (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; integrated via Google Site Kit) helps us understand how visitors use our website. Google may process data in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We use Google Analytics only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Ahrefs Web Analytics (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., Singapore) provides aggregated visitor statistics without cookies. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the reach of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Google Maps

Our contact page contains a Google Maps map (Google Ireland Ltd.). The map is only loaded after you have consented via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Once it loads, your IP address and other technical data are transmitted to Google and may be processed in the USA.

7. Links to social networks and other websites

Our pages contain simple links to LinkedIn, Facebook, X and other external websites. No data is transmitted to these providers until you click a link. After that, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

8. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only pass on personal data to service providers who support us (hosting, email, analytics) and who are bound by data processing agreements, or where we are legally required to do so. Where data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, this is based on an adequacy decision (e.g. EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, simply email info@linkfar.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.

10. Data security

Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
